We have had our two Honua Kai properties with Chris Geng and the Maui Resort ohana since 2015. They are dedicated to maximizing our rental income while keeping our properties in pristine condition. Our rental income has almost doubled since inception and we were doing pretty well even from Day 1 (Our unit was rented on the day we closed escrow!). MRR has a robust website so an increasing number of our guests book directly through MRR and avoid booking fees charged through third parties like VRBO, although our units are marketed on multiple other sites. These same guests also often come back to stay in our units, which also speaks highly of the responsiveness of the Guest Experience Team. The MRR Owner Experience team has also helped us update and maintain our Honua Kai properties. They have referred us to local retailers, artists, and craftsmen. Painting, furniture updates, etc. all coordinated with us on the mainland. During the lockdown, we had no worries about our units as the MRR ohana was keeping watch. MRR also has a robust owner portal which makes it easy to track bookings, expenses, and monthly statements. The accounting team take care of all our taxes and have been very helpful any time a question may arise. Simply the best! We only wish Maui Resort were available to manage properties elsewhere!
